Beta Tester Policy
1. Overview
This policy governs participation in the Overmind Closed Beta (“Beta Program”). By completing the screening process and accepting these terms, you agree to be bound by this policy in its entirety.
2. What the Beta Program Is
The Closed Beta is a structured pre-launch testing program. Access is free. In exchange, you commit to active participation, honest feedback, and strict confidentiality for the duration of the program. Access is not granted immediately upon application — it is granted when the MVP is ready and your application has been reviewed and approved.
Applying does not guarantee access. Caelvyn accepts or rejects applications at its sole discretion.
3. Tiers and Mutual Exclusivity
Closed Beta and Founding Member are mutually exclusive tiers. You cannot hold both simultaneously. If you have applied for Beta and wish to become a Founding Member, this option is available provided Founding Member registration remains open and you have not yet been granted Beta product access. Once Beta product access is granted, the path to Founding Member is permanently closed.
4. Non-Disclosure Obligation
By accepting Beta access you agree to keep all of the following strictly confidential:
- The product's mechanics, feature details, and system architecture
- Any bugs, issues, or limitations you encounter
- Feedback you submit and Caelvyn's responses
- Any communications with Caelvyn regarding the Beta Program
- Any unreleased features or roadmap details you become aware of
You must not discuss, publish, post, stream, screenshot, or otherwise disclose any Beta content on any platform — public or private — without explicit written permission from Caelvyn.
This obligation survives the end of the Beta Program indefinitely.
5. Breach of NDA
In the event of a breach:
- Beta access is immediately and permanently revoked
- Caelvyn reserves the right to pursue legal remedies for damages caused by the breach
- You are solely responsible for any consequences, whether the breach was intentional or negligent
6. Participation Obligations
As a Beta tester you agree to:
- Actively use the product during the Beta period
- Submit bug reports when you encounter issues
- Complete weekly task lists within the specified window
- Provide honest, specific feedback — not generic responses
Enforcement:Failure to complete a weekly task within the response window results in a formal warning. Two warnings in a single Beta period may result in immediate access revocation at Caelvyn's discretion. No refund applies — participation is free.
7. Feedback Ownership
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit become the sole property of Caelvyn. You waive any claim to compensation or credit. Caelvyn is under no obligation to implement any suggestion.
8. Data Wipe at Launch
Your Beta account — including all data, content, and history — will be permanently wiped at Overmind's public launch. You will not retain any access, data, or account status after the wipe. This is a stated condition of participation, not a bug.
9. No Warranties
The Beta product is unfinished software provided as-is. You accept that it will contain bugs and incomplete features. Caelvyn is not liable for any loss, data loss, or inconvenience arising from Beta usage.
10. Termination
Caelvyn reserves the right to terminate any Beta participant's access at any time for any reason, including NDA breach, failure to meet participation obligations, or conduct Caelvyn deems inappropriate.
11. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the District Court, Jammu, India.
